Chapter 2

April 30, 1664
Neuschwanstein Castle
I felt a stronger presence, not in the room, but within myself. I felt like I had slept and now I was refreashed and was at my best. I could run a thousand miles and feel fine. My eyes flew open as a felt a sweet, crimson taste in my mouth, being poured down my throat. I immeditly craved more.
"Meister, kann ich bitte mehr?" Master, may i please have more? A man that was very tall, who looked very powerful. He was dark and mysterious. My brain was on auto-pilot when I said "Master". He had very pale skin with a smile that was wiked but famillar.
"Weißt du, was das ist, sind Sie Lust auf mehr?" Do you realize child, what you are craving more of?
"Nien" No
"Was du bist Verkostung ist Blut. in der Tat, deine Mutter das Blut" What you are tasting is blood. In fact, your mother's blood. I gasped in horror of myself. How could I crave my mother so badly. Then what I thought next scared me even more. I still wanted more, Mother's or not.
"wirklich? Bitte, Herr, ich brauche mehr!" Really? Please, Master, I need more! He handed me the glass and I sat up off the stone floor. I downed the wine glass full of my mother's blood quickly.
"Danke, Meister"Thank you, Master
"Sie können mich anrufen Vlad Dracula"You may call me Vlad Dracula
"Ja, Dracula" Yes, Dracula. Dracula began to explian what I was, other than a vampire of course, and how to handle myself. I looked at him closely feeling like I've seen him before. Then it hit me, he had changed me into what I was. I listened carefully, taking mental notes on what to do. I gawked at his beauty and wondered if i looked like him as well. He had long brown hair. It was straight and tamed. He facial features were perfect. The curve of his lips, the shape of his nose. His eyes were a blood red and his lips were a deep purple. Underneath his eyes were a darker shade than his skin. He smiled at me when he noticed I was staring. His cainines were razor sharp, his smile was cocky as if he knew I thought he was beautiful. He explained how now I was weak for a vampire and needed blood to gather my strength. I could still take a human easily but I would not want to attack a skilled vampire such as Vlad. He told me that he and I would have to go to a village and drink all the blood. I didn't know what to say. The first thing I told him was that I didn't know how to fight so how could I kill a human without any skill. He simply shrugged and told me that instinct would kick in and I would go into predatory mode and kill them off as quickly as possible. I asked him what if there were people in that village who, like me, had potential as a vampire. He told me that was highly unlikely and not to worry about weather they were good or not. He offered his hand and helped me up. I was taller than I thought but when i looked down, I was wearing scarlet shoes with two inch heels. I also had on a dress with fuzzy black material and what looked like satin red material dripping down like blood. We walked and both of us click clacked because he was wearing italian loafers with a casual looking tuxedo. We passed a mirror I tryed to see what I looked like, I looked like a pale goddes, I was pleased. I noticed i never saw Vlad in the mirror though.
"Vlad, warum kann ich dich nicht in den Spiegel?" Vlad, why can't I see you in the mirror? Now that I had a little blood rushing in me, my voice was pure and extraodinary.
"wenn Sie sind so alt wie ich bin, Bilder von sich selbst verschwinden und Sie nicht mehr sehen, selbst in den Spiegel." When you are as old as I am, images fade and you no longer see yourself in the mirror. He said simply as if he did not miss his reflection, but when you are this beautiful, why would you not want to see yourself? I had my black hair that was wavy and it flowed wonderfully, I'm sure i could make murder look gracful too. While we continued walking i took in my surrondings. It seemed everywhere i went it was stone walls with pictures of various vampires, the stone floor mostly covered with red rugs and on the side lie vases and statues and so many things to look at. Suits of Armor and so on. I was so engulfed that when we reached, Vlad had to stop me from running straight into the door,
"bekümmert" Sorry
"kein Problem, nun folge mir nach, und spielen Sie genau auf, wohin du gehst" Not a problem, now follow me, and pay attention to where you are going. he chuckled lightly which made my heart skip a beat. What? I asked myself how could i have been entoxicated by his laugh. I put that out of my mind. He turned to me and opened the door and motioned me to go first. He and i locked looks as i made my way out the door. Once outside, i truly got the feeling i was in the presence of a vampire. The garden was well tended and had plants but everything was foggy all around making the garden have a blue-ish green tint. Vlad bent down and picked up something from the garden in one swift motion. He handed a black flower to me. I inspected it more closly and it was a rotting rose. I knew it was a symbol, for we are vampires and are dead. It was purplish black and beautiful anyways. I looked at him and smiled. He nodded once and put it on the side of my ear. He motioned me to follow and then, at the walls surronding the garden, he open the large, steel gate. he gave me a competitive smile and sprinted off. Vlad was a blur ahead and with instinct I sprinted off after him. The two inch heels didn't seem to make a difference.
